Dr. Pierre Giammanco has spent his 30+ year career mastering the art and plastic surgical principles necessary to be a successful surgeon. The measure of his success consists of thousands of satisfied patients with before and after documentation of how successful their results are. Fifteen years ago he moved from a busy practice in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan to Newport Beach Fashion Island. In 1997 he opened his new facility Newport Coast Center for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, which met and exceeded the strict guidelines of the AAAHC ( Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care Centers ). He subsequently has been certified by the IMQ or Institute for Medical Quality. Since 2004 the Newport Coast Center for Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Dr. Giammanco have continued to meet and or exceed those higher standards of practice required for certification.
A consultation with Dr. Giammanco usually involves as much time as the patient need to communicate effectively and to get answers to the questions which allay ones anxiety about having surgery. In most instances you will stand in front of a mirror while expected results are simulated by manual adjusting. More importantly Dr. Giammanco has been imaging patients since the late 1980's and prides himself on being one of only a few people who spend the extra time for the sake of better communication and for carefully monitoring actual outcomes versus predicted outcomes. Patients have input throughout this process. All images are archived using a system which clearly indicates images which have been altered in the pre-op modified stage from original
images. The possibility of unrealistic expectation is markedly reduced. Both patient and doctor can look back and see how well the surgery accomplished their agreed upon goals.
